Matthew Christopher

Matthew Christopher began his career in bridal fashion with an internship at Demetrios Bridal, under the guidance of designer Jimmy Elias. Following this, Matthew Christopher completed his tenure as the design assistant of Candice Soloman at One of a Kind Bride where he first aquired the knowledge and skills that would prove vital in his career in bridal couture.

By 2000, Matthew Christopher accepted a position as a designer with Galina Bridal where he designed several collections that were subsequently featured in Bride's and Modern Bride. With an emphasis in precise fit and construction, his first collection embodied his dedication to quality and elegance for today's sophisticated bride. By infusing a modern, contemporary approach to its existing look, Christopher was credited with rejuvenating the brand. After this experience, he continued to hone his craft by designing for Casablanca Bridal, where he went on to create some of the label's top-selling gowns.

With his reputation established, he created his own label, Matthew Christopher, Inc. in 2002 a the age of 25. Catering to an upscale clientele, Matthew Christopher, Inc. designs are crafted for the woman wishing to experience the complete bridal couture experience. Each piece is tailored to exact specifications with special attention paid to the intricate details that make each gown the centerpiece of a bride's wedding day. From molded bodices and sculpted necklines reminiscent of old-world elegance, Matthew Christopher's signature style of only using the finest silks, satins and tulles, coupled with delicate detailing, will continue to set him apart in bridal couture fashion.
